 Tri-Corders Environmental, Inc. (TEI) was contracted by Science Applications International Corporation to co-leader of the Triad site characterization of the future building site for the C-17 Hanger. The project was performed as an expedited response when the discovery of contamination interrupted construction of hangers at the site, The project included project planning, regulatory negotiations, and field execution. The project included three weeks of field work. Approximately 400 discreet soil and groundwater samples were analyzed from 78 plan view locations. The entire project was conducted over a five week period from contracting to regulatory acceptance of interim remedial action acceptance. The project allowed construction of the hanger to get back on schedule and it was completed on time.
