 Tri-Corders Environmental, Inc. (TEI) was contracted lead contractor to plan and execute a Triad approach project on property optioned by Houston Metro Transit Authority. The scope of work was to investigate soil contamination at the site, provide a detailed cost estimate for cleanup and to negotiate environmental insurance to cover cleanup and property transfer. The project resulted in accurate mapping of subsurface heavy metals and petroleum contamination. The Triad approach data set allowed reduced uncertainty in the cleanup cost estimate and saved over $1,000,000 in the cost of insurance for the project.
