Tri-Corders Environmental, Inc. (TEI) was contracted by Earth Tech, Alexandria, VA as part of a team to plan and execute a Triad approach project at a former US Air Force Plant in Columbus, OH. This site had been transferred to private ownership and was currently used as a freight transit terminal. The project was designed to characterize a TCE DNAPL source area and associated GW plume in shallow soils. Tri-Corders provided on-site analysis of 478 total soil and GW samples by EPA Method 8265 over 10 field days. TEI assisted with the systematic planning and also provided the direct push sampling equipment for this project.
