Tri-Corders Environmental, Inc. (TEI) was co-lead contractor to plan and execute a number of Triad approach projects at McGuire AFB, NJ. The other team members for this investigation are Hayworth Engineering Sciences, Panama City, FL and SAIC, Hackensack, NJ. The objective of this investigation was to map the volume and extent of chlorinated solvent in the shallow subsurface at the site. The project involved MIP investigation of the source and high level plume with integrated discrete soil and groundwater sampling using both direct push and sonic drilling techniques for both the source area and high and low level plume. Surface water and sediment sampling were also conducted in a wetlands on site. Discrete soil, sediment, surface water and groundwater were analyzed on-site by US EPA Method 8265 using Tri-Corders DSITMS. TEI provided the DSITMS analysis and assisted with planning, drafting the dynamic work plan and final reporting.
