Triad Environmental Solutions, Inc. (TES) was contracted by Arcadis-US, Inc. to provide Triad characterization support for the investigation of a DNAPL source area and associated plume at a former metals manufacturing facility in Michigan. Limited previous data indicated a source near the former buildings and plume extending away from the manufacturing area. The project was conducted over 11 field days using direct push soil and groundwater sampling and DSITMS performing EPA Method 8265. Groundwater was sampled to depths of over 90 ft BGS. Over the investigation TES performed over 400 discrete soil and groundwater analyses. The data was used in real-time to determine sampling locations (plan view and depth).
