Triad Environmental Solutions, Inc. (TES) was contracted by Arcadis-US, Inc. to provide Triad characterization support for the investigation of a DNAPL source area and associated plume at a former electronic manufacturing facility in Florida. Limited previous data indicated a source near the building and plume extending away from the building. The project was conducted over 22 field days using the membrane interface probe, direct push soil and groundwater sampling and DSITMS performing EPA Method 8265. Over the investigation TES analyzed 913 discrete soil samples and 25 groundwater samples. Using the Triad approach with the MIP and DSITMS, the source and plume were accurately characterized within the time and budget.
